The Cultural Orientation to Working in China and Adapting to Global Teams, is a sharing intended to support chamber members new to China or to working on global teams. This one-hour cultural briefing and one-hour breakfast includes a networking ice-breaker to share ideas and experiences around working on multicultural teams. Anyone adapting to an intercultural environment is welcome to attend.
This session introduces key working values and common challenges that newcomers may experience in their multicultural teams and projects. Included will be several small cases and a chance for bi-lingual Q&A to address the concerns and situations attendees anticipate. As a welcome to new residents and their families, both international and Chinese, we will provide a free city overview booklet to help become familiar with living in Guangzhou.
